About us

Break It Training PLT empowers individuals and teams through experiential learning and by breaking self and team limitation. Our programs blend physical challenges such as wall climbing, hiking and strength exercises with corporate principles that build teamwork, communication and leadership.

Our purpose

To inspire breakthroughs by helping people discover their inner strength, face challenges with courage, and grow through real, meaningful experiences.

We exist to create a safe, energizing space where individuals and teams can push beyond their limits, connect deeply, and transform how they work and live.

Halfway up a wall, nobody is thinking about their job title. Your hands shake a little. You look down, then you look up. The colleague cheering from the ground is someone you barely speak to on Mondays.

That moment does more for trust than a slide deck ever could. So every program we build starts with real experience, moves to honest reflection, and ends with a plain look at what changes back at work.

Looking up from the ground at a circle of participants leaning in together with their hands reaching toward the centre against a bright sky.

Climbing as a way of thinking

Our founder is a climbing philosopher at heart. We use climbing metaphors to teach life and leadership principles: you cannot see the next hold from where you are, asking for a better angle is not weakness, and nobody climbs the whole wall in one move.

It also helps that our lead facilitator is a Mount Kinabalu summiter, a Level 2 Sport Climbing certified instructor and an HRD Corp accredited trainer. Meet Azidzul.

The five-stage team flow

  1. Trust

Building the foundation of psychological safety.

In the sessionSmall, low-stakes challenges where everyone speaks and is heard first.

Back at workPeople say "I do not know" and "I need help" early, before it gets expensive.

  2. Conflict

    Healthy debate and productive tension.

In the sessionSimulation roles with competing priorities, so disagreement can be practised without damage.

Back at workThe real argument happens in the meeting room, not in the corridor afterwards.

  3. Commitment

    Alignment and buy-in to decisions.

In the sessionThe group has to choose a route and own it together.

Back at workDecisions stick. Fewer people say "I never agreed to that".

  4. Accountability

    Holding each other responsible.

In the sessionTeammates check each other’s plan before anyone commits.

Back at workPeers lift the standard kindly, so the boss is not the only one watching.

  5. Result

    Achieving collective goals and outcomes.

In the sessionA shared target that nobody reaches alone.

Back at workThe team keeps score together and celebrates "we".

How a session runs

Learning is fun, but it is more fun to learn while experiencing. We use simulation in the form of game activities, where everyone has a chance to play roles that reflect an organisation.

  1. Frame

We agree what the day is for and what your people need to leave with.

  2. Experience

A climb, a trek, a hunt or a simulation game where everyone plays a role that mirrors a real organisation.

  3. Reflect

A guided conversation about what each person noticed. Honest, short and never forced.

  4. Carry back

One small commitment per person, so the learning survives the commute home.

What we believe

  • Real experience

People remember what they did far longer than what they were told.

  • Safe, then brave

Safety and learning outcomes are designed together. Courage is invited, never forced.

  • Local and kind

We love supporting our own local places, especially the ones that look after animals.

  • Give back

We volunteer for social causes and bring our skills to youth and special needs communities.

  • Everyone included

We provide accessibility support for all our guests.

Problems we help with

Your people are afraid to speak up, especially in front of others.

We build confidence through fun, hands-on activities like wall climbing and group sharing.

Teams misunderstand each other or avoid talking.

We guide them through activities that teach how to listen, trust and express things clearly.

Stress and burnout are everywhere in a busy workplace.

Our programs refresh the mind, boost energy and bring motivation back.

People feel disconnected or do not work well together.

Group challenges and reflection help teams rebuild teamwork and unity.

Everyone is tired of boring, lecture-style training.

We run engaging, interactive sessions that get people moving, thinking and having fun.

Stories and shared experiences help people reconnect with what they are aiming for.
